Same engine, same throw, different job. Instead of a draft there is recruiting, and instead of a franchise there is a programme with boosters to keep happy. If you have taken a Retro Bowl team to the title and want the same feel with new problems, this is the one.
4th and Goal 2022 to 2026
Glowmonkey's series is the arcade side of the sport. You control both offense and defense from a small playbook with the keyboard, and a full game takes about ten minutes. The yearly editions tune the AI and add plays; the 2026 edition is the most polished, while older ones are quicker and rougher.
2 Minute Football Classic
One drive, two minutes, score or you lose. It is the two-minute drill from Retro Bowl with the rest of the game removed, and a good way to practise clock management without playing a full season.
Touchdowners
Two ragdoll players, one ball, one goal line each. It is a physics game more than a football game, but it is the best thing on the site to play on one keyboard with a friend, and a round lasts a minute.
American Football Real
The slow, simulation end of the shelf: a bigger playbook, a full field view and a pace closer to a real broadcast. Play it when you want to think about plays rather than react to them.
